About us!
Bara and Toby first met online in the game Star Wars The Old Republic in 2021, working together in “operations”, which are tough missions for teams of 8 players. They got on amazingly, and quickly became great friends, raiding well together as Cotanks in a team called “Revansbane”, completing many challenging timed runs, and gathering many game achievements together.
In late 2022, Bara wanted to come on a visit to meet as she called him “her beloved Cotank” and see the beautiful island of Jersey. As the time towards the trip came, the pair started to become closer, spending more time on calls together, both playing swtor, and just chatting while playing other games such as Hogwarts Legacy and Elden Ring.
This developed into a unexpected, but not unwelcome interest in one another, leading to more excitement for the trip, and ultimately resulting in the pair starting a relationship.
Bara’s first trip to Jersey was most successful, in setting the new couple on a path together, and sharing good times together on the picturesque island of Jersey.
They enjoyed going to classic Jersey locations such as Archirondel, Corbiere Lighthouse, Gorey Castle, and Gronez.
Bara loved her time in Jersey, and was eager to return sometime in the future. Toby was also now keen to visit his beloved “real life Cotank” in the Czech Republic. And so began the seemingly endless cycle of flights and airport visits.
